Paul Levine: Partner at Sapphire Ventures

Paul Levine is the original fintech + Proptech Silicon Valley operator and I am happy to get his wisdom as I back Latin American founders in these industries.

Early in his career he worked at E*TRADE from Morgan Stanley which in many ways was the original consumer fintech company leveraging the internet to disrupt investing and wealth management.

He then went to Yahoo where I worked with Paul. His calm, positive leadership style encouraged phenomenal team work.

Then he entered startup land.

After a series of companies he found his home at Trulia. As COO and president he and the Trulia team had an amazing run from scaling the company, going public, to eventually joining forces with Zillow.

More recently, Paul had been backing technology companies as an investor at Sapphire Ventures.

Silicon Valley can be a magical place where the number of talented people you meet over the course of a career or simply a visit to Coupa Cafe is incredible.

In my role as building a bridge between Silicon Valley and Latin America, I feel lucky and motivated to share my learnings and most importantly my network with the founders I support.
