Forging Valuable Connections: The Inspiring Role of Sinohe Terrero

So much about being an early stage investor and mentor to founders is about the network of people you build who share your values and mission.

I am really honored to count Sinohe Terrero as part of the network of people who are helping me back and support outstanding Latin American and LatinX founders and companies.

Sinohe is CFO/COO of Envoy. When we met in San Francisco he had recently had a board meeting which is a big deal for a company that has a who’s who of investors (e.g., Andreessen Horowitz, Menlo Ventures , Initialized Capital ).

Originally from the Bronx and of Dominican 🇩🇴 descent, Sinohe worked hard every step of his career to make his way from banking at Citi to making his way to tech with companies like Etsy and Indiegogo and Quid.

One of his passions is doing something to address the challenge of the relative lack of LatinX leaders at the top of Tech firms.

He is doing several things to address the issue including being on the board of Code2040 for 7+ years. Code2040 connects Black and LatinX tech talent with companies, mentors, and peers to grow their participation and success in the tech industry.

I got introduced to Sinohe from Geoff Donaker (who has an amazing story himself from being early at eBay and Yelp to starting his own VC fund Burst Capital ) and we immediately connected.

I am honored that Sinohe Terrero is an investor in NuMundo Ventures and is part of the amazing network of people backing companies that will improve the lives of millions of Latin Americans in LatAm and the US.
