Tecnológico de Monterrey in the new house! This week I was honored to host a group from Tec at my new home in Silicon Valley. This is the third group that is part of the “Tec Beyond” program that toured Silicon Valley.
My connection to Tecnológico de Monterrey is very strong having invested in many companies founded by Tec graduates with the most recent investment being Buildpeer. Most importantly, my colleague at NuMundo Ventures, Carlos Rousseau, is a recent graduate.
In our discussion we had an AMA where we broke down how I source companies, make investment decisions, and we went deep into the case studies of OneCarNow!, Buildpeer, finvero, and Cashea.
After hosting ~60 people from different parts of Mexico over the last month, I learned a great deal and feel more connected to people from across the country from Leon to Morelia to Chihuahua and of course, Monterrey, Guadalajara, and CDMX.
